Rejecting Lilith

Firstly I’m well aware of the anti-otherkin rhetoric going on. In some ways I have seen a lot of “I don’t belong here” “Woe Is Me” in the otherkin community and a number of people have used ‘kin as an outlet to express their not belonging and feelings there of. At the same time I don’t think its particularly right to accuse every ‘kin of being in this category nor that we carry a mental illness. That’s similar to accusing those who have religious experiences of being insane because they talk to ‘imaginary’ entities.

First and foremost I’m human. I am in a human body, thus I am human. I do belong in this world as I was born into it.

I’m about as different as I am from my neighbor. Human beings are diverse, I am diverse as well.

I hold the belief that everyone has ‘kin in them. As we reincarnate from life to life, we take with us from each life something. In some cases this piece we take is more prevalent, giving phantom sensations.

I am reluctantly considering myself to be demon-kin. This term carries such a negative connotation. But I proudly display the fact that I am succubi, but I do not consider myself outwardly dark, evil, malicious. Thus why my blog is called lilith rejection, I am still rejecting the fact that I am a child of lilith- the first succubus.

This side of me does not effect me day to day or in a daily life. It is something that I enjoy meditating upon, enjoy viewing as myself when I work witchcraft. But I do not think of myself as better or lower than anyone else.
